The Pine Bluff Public Facilities Board for the Courtyard by Marriott met Thursday to discuss ongoing construction progress at the hotel site adjacent to the Pine Bluff Convention Center.
During the meeting, a board member raised concerns about potential tariff-related cost increases for the project. Following the discussion, Facilities Committee President Letrece Harris spoke with Deltaplex News regarding the possible impact of those tariffs.
Construction is now underway at the hotel site. The elevator shaft is partially built, and the concrete slab is expected to be poured soon. Harris spoke about the progress and ongoing construction process.
In other business, local attorney Keidra Burrell was officially appointed to the Pine Bluff Public Facilities Board during the meeting.
