The Pine Bluff Police Department is searching for a suspect in connection with a shooting that occurred just after 3 a.m. on Tuesday, October 21.
According to detectives, 20-year-old Alonzo Harris, described as a Black male approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing around 146 pounds, is wanted in connection with the incident, which took place at 1202 S. Cherry Street.
When officers arrived on scene, they found a residence that had been struck multiple times by gunfire while two adults and an infant were inside. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
Witnesses told police they observed a gray passenger car—missing rear bumper panels on both sides and featuring one black passenger door—circling the block several times prior to the shooting. The vehicle was reportedly occupied by four males, including Harris.
Investigators say the suspects parked behind a nearby business before three of them exited the vehicle armed with rifles. The trio approached the apartment and opened fire on the residence before fleeing the area. One suspect remained in the vehicle during the attack.
