The Pine Bluff Police Department is investigating a domestic violence–related shooting that left two people injured Wednesday night in the 1500 block of West 29th Avenue.
Officers responded to reports of gunfire at about 9:14 p.m. and found evidence consistent with a shooting, police said. Two individuals suffered gunshot wounds and were taken to a local hospital for treatment. Their conditions were not immediately released.
Detectives determined the shooting stemmed from a domestic incident and are continuing to collect evidence and conduct follow-up interviews.
Police are searching for Tumarcus Deangelo Franklin, 23, a black male, in connection with the shooting. Investigators said Franklin fled the scene before officers arrived and remains at large.
