The Pine Bluff Police Department is seeking the public’s help in a homicide investigation involving Kendrell Laws, who was shot around 11:45 a.m. on April 11, 2024, in the 3100 block of South Catalpa Street. Officers arrived to find Laws suffering from a gunshot wound to his left side. Emergency personnel provided aid and transported him to Jefferson Regional Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries.
The suspect fled the scene immediately after the shooting and has not been identified. The Major Crimes Division is actively investigating and following all available leads.
