The Pine Bluff Police Department is investigating a homicide after a man was found shot to death in a parked car Sunday afternoon.
Just before 4:30 p.m. on August 31, officers were dispatched to 3202 W. 15th Avenue in response to reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they discovered 44-year-old Brandon Goldberg inside a passenger vehicle parked in the driveway of a vacant residence.
Police said Goldberg had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was unresponsive. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The property owner, who was checking on the vacant home, first discovered the vehicle in the driveway. Upon approaching, the owner recognized Goldberg and immediately notified both police and the victim’s family.
Investigators say the case remains in its early stages, and no additional details have been released at this time.
