Pine Bluff Police Department Hosts 1st Annual National Night Out (NNO)

On Tuesday, the Pine Bluff Police Department hosted their National Night Out (NNO) program at the Pine Bluff Convention Center. Citizens of all ages were engaged as the night progressed. Community organizations and local government departments set up a booth to provide general information on their respective operations, but also treats and other small giveaways were passed out. Children who were able to attend enjoyed the Bounce house. Door prizes were given out during the event, and also activities such as a mobile gaming station, and the Pine Bluff Fire Emergency Services had a home fire safety escape course.

Treats, school supplies, and small trinkets were provided by the Emergency Ambulance Service Inc. (EASI)

 

PBPD Police Chief Denise Richardson gave input on the program and also the importance of PBPD’s community outreach:

 

Derrick Hamilton, owner of Hamilton’s Farm had a mobile Gaming Station stationed and spoke about how it was received by the public.

 

Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Courtney Kelly spoke about the impact of the National Night Out (NNO) event:
