A Pine Bluff man was killed Wednesday evening in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 65 in Jefferson County, according to the Arkansas State Police.
The crash occurred at 6:35 p.m. on Sept. 10 at the intersection of U.S. 65 and State Highway 81.
Investigators said a 2002 Peterbilt tractor-trailer was traveling north on U.S. 65 when it failed to stop at a traffic light. The truck struck a 2012 Kia Optima that was turning at the intersection.
The driver of the Kia, 46-year-old Vincent Williams Jr. of Pine Bluff, was killed in the collision.
Weather conditions were clear and the roadway was dry at the time of the crash, the report stated.
The crash remains under investigation by Arkansas State Police Trooper Ruben Zamora.
