Pine Bluff Man Held on Bond After Allegedly Threatening Neighbor and Shooting Dog

A $50,000 bond was set Friday for a Pine Bluff man with an extensive criminal history who allegedly threatened a neighbor and shot his dog following an altercation.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Ricky Keck, 65, with terroristic threatening, felon in possession of a firearm and misdemeanor discharging a firearm in the city limits.

Reading from an affidavit from Detective Ryan Edwards, Prosecuting Attorney S. Kyle Hunter said at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, police were sent to Cottonwood Street in response to a reported disturbance between neighbors.

Hunter said police were sent back to the house less than an hour later.

Keck was ordered to have no contact with the neighbor and told to come back to court April 14.
