A $40,000 bond was set Wednesday for a Pine Bluff man accused of firing shots into a residence Nov. 27 where two people received gunshot wounds.
Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Mark Davis, 40, with two counts of first-degree battery and one count of committing a terroristic act.
Reading from an affidavit from Detective Shaun Watson, a deputy prosecutor said on Nov. 27 at 8:05 p.m., police responded to an unknown trouble call in the 1900 block of West 20th Avenue.
Watson reported that detectives went to Jefferson Regional Hospital where they talked to Marcus Davis who was being treated for a gunshot wound.
Mark Davis was ordered to have no contact with the victims and told to come back to court Jan. 21.
