A $25,000 bond was set Monday for a Pine Bluff man who allegedly swallowed narcotics while running from police.
Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Danny Sission, 47, with possession of a controlled substance with purpose to deliver methamphetamine and possession of ecstasy.
Deputy Prosecutor Ty Spradlin said on Friday night, a police officer was sent to a reported disturbance in the 4400 block of Burnett Street.
After Sission was taken to the adult detention center, he began convulsing and was taken to Jefferson Regional Hospital for treatment. He was told to come back to court May 18.
