Pine Bluff Man Held on $200K Bond for Alleged Sexual Assault of Minor

A $200,000 bond was set Friday for a Pine Bluff man accused of sexually assaulting a minor female.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Jabez Clark, 33, with rape and sexual solicitation of a minor.

Deputy Prosecutor Ty Spradlin said on Wednesday, a Jefferson County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to a reported rape at an address on U.S. Highway 63.

The 13-year-old victim described incidents that occurred both Tuesday and Wednesday involving Clark and said he gave her $160 in cash. She later gave that money to investigators.

Clark was ordered to have no contact with the victim and told to come back to court May 11.
