A $100,000 bond was set Monday for a Pine Bluff man accused of beating his girlfriend with a baseball bat and threatening to kill her.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Melchizdek Muhammad, 47, with first-degree domestic battery.
