A $10,000 bond was set Monday for a Pine Bluff man who was arrested after he allegedly violated an order of protection and broke into a house Saturday.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Delarett Carter, 45, with aggravated residential burglary and violating an order of protection.

Deputy Prosecutor Brittaney Akel explained the allegation against Carter during the court hearing.

Akel said Carter has several prior felony convictions.

He was ordered to have no contact with the victim and told to come back to court Oct. 27.
