A $10,000 bond was set Wednesday for a Pine Bluff man currently on parole on drug related allegations.
Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Kelvin Locke, 48, with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Reading from an affidavit by Detective Jarrell Johnson, Deputy Prosecutor Shana Alexander said on Monday at about noon, Arkansas Department of Community Corrections agents conducted a home visit at a residence in the 2500 block of West 17th Ave. where Locke listed as his residence. He is on a work release program from the Department of Corrections.
Locke was told to come back to court July 23.
