A $2,500 bond was set Friday for a Pine Bluff man who allegedly hit another man in the face during an altercation.
Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Archie Williams, 48, with second-degree battery.
Reading from an affidavit by Detective Lt. Derick Neal, Deputy Prosecutor Ty Spradlin said on Sunday afternoon, police were sent to a reported disturbance.
Williams was ordered to have no contact with the victim and told to come back to court Aug. 15.
