Pine Bluff Man Faces $5,000 Bond for Driving Stolen Vehicle

A Pine Bluff man arrested for driving a car that was reported stolen will have to post a $5,000 bond to be released from the adult detention center after a court hearing Friday.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Juan Hall, 51, with theft by receiving.

Deputy  Prosecutor Ty Spradlin said the vehicle Hall was driving had been reported stolen in Little Rock and police conducted a traffic stop after a check of the license plate indicated the reported theft.

Hall was told to come back to court Aug. 1.
