A Pine Bluff man was killed in a one-vehicle accident on South Hazel Street Wednesday night.
According to a preliminary report, Denarious Woods, 45, was southbound near West 46th Avenue when the 2015 Chrysler 200 he was driving left the roadway and struck a tree before coming to rest.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident was reported at 7:20 p.m. and the death was the 179th so far this year on the state’s highways.
