The Pine Bluff Police Department has arrested a 23-year-old man in connection with a shooting that occurred earlier this month.
According to authorities, Tamarcus Deangelo Franklin was taken into custody for his alleged role in the January 7, 2026 incident. Investigators said Franklin had been identified as a suspect since the early stages of the investigation.
Officers were dispatched around 9:14 p.m. to the 1500 block of West 29th Avenue after receiving reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, officers discovered that two individuals had been shot.
Both victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment. Their conditions have not been released.
