A $2,500 bond was set Monday for a Pine Bluff man who was arrested after a traffic stop when a gun that had been reported stolen was found in the man’s vehicle.
Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Eddie Hardimon, 38, with theft by receiving a firearm.
Reading from an affidavit by Arkansas State Trooper Nathan Jines, Prosecuting Attorney S. Kyle Hunter said Jines conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Hardimon after noticing that Hardimon was not wearing a seat belt.
Hardimon was told to come back to court May 13.
