A $10,000 bond was set Wednesday for a Pine Bluff man accused of punching his elderly father in the face during an altercation.
Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge James Bryan Lewis with second-degree domestic battery.
Reading from an affidavit by Detective Shaun Watson, Prosecuting Attorney S. Kyle Hunter said on Monday, Pine Bluff Police were sent to a reported domestic disturbance.
Hunter said James Bryan Lewis has more than four prior felony convictions. He was ordered to have no contact with his father and told to come back to court May 15.
