Pine Bluff Crime Down Nearly 15% in November, Year-to-Date Numbers Also Decline

New crime statistics released by the Pine Bluff Police Department show a continued decline in overall crime, with November offenses down nearly 15% compared with the same month last year.

According to PBPD data, 222 crimes were reported in November 2025, down from 260 in November 2024. Through the first 11 months of the year, the city has recorded 2,730 total crimes — a decrease of more than 19% compared with the same period in 2024.

While overall crime is down, several categories saw increases last month. Homicides rose from one in November 2024 to three in November 2025, a 200% increase. Rape reports also climbed, from six last year to 10 this year.

Robbery numbers remained steady at four, while aggravated assaults inched up from 31 to 33.

Other crime types saw significant declines. Simple assault reports dropped from 80 in November 2024 to 69 last month. Reported commercial burglaries fell more than 66%, from nine last year to three in November 2025. Residential burglaries remained unchanged at 16.

Thefts also declined, with 77 reports in November 2025 compared with 90 the previous year. Vehicle thefts dropped sharply, from 23 in November 2024 to just seven last month.

PBPD responded to 2,647 calls for service in November and conducted 374 traffic stops, according to the report.
