Earlier in the year, the idea of possibly closing the Pine Bluff Arsenal or at least reducing some of its mission was a hot topic, not only in Jefferson County but in Washington as well.
Now, thanks to Arkansas’ two U.S. Senators and Fourth District Congressman Bruce Westerman, the future apparently looks brighter.
Westerman talked about that when he appeared on the Oldies 1013 Morning Show.
Westerman, who chairs the House Natural Resources Subcommittee went on to explain why things have changed.
