One Dead After Early Morning Crash on I-530 Near Hensley

One person was killed early Wednesday morning in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 530 in Saline County, according to the Arkansas State Police.

The crash happened at approximately 3:51 a.m. on October 15, 2025, near the 10-mile marker in the southbound lanes of I-530.

According to the preliminary fatal crash summary, the driver of a 2016 Toyota Camry was traveling south when the vehicle failed to navigate a left-hand curve, left the roadway, and struck a tree. The impact caused the car to catch fire.

The driver, listed as John Doe pending positive identification, was pronounced dead at the scene. No other occupants or injuries were reported.

State police noted that weather conditions were clear and the roadway was dry at the time of the crash. The body was taken to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for identification and further investigation.
