A $100,000 cash only bond was set Monday for a North Little Rock man who was out on bond on a capital murder allegation in Pulaski County on drug and weapons allegations in Jefferson County.
Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Shaun Jones, 21, with violation of the uniform machinegun act, simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance with purpose to deliver.
Reading from an affidavit by White Hall Police Investigator Charles Treadway, Prosecuting Attorney S Kyle Hunter said on Feb. 28 at 1:20 a.m., a White Hall Police Officer was patrolling Sheridan Road near Robin Road when he saw a silver Honda displaying a dealer plate and conducted a traffic stop.
Hunter said the officer ordered Jones to come back to the car, but he was not following commands.
Hunter said he notified the Pulaski County Prosecuting Attorney about Jones’ arrest, and they will be filing a motion to revoke his bond. Jones was told to come back to court April 15.
