More than 174,000 Frigidaire gas ranges sold nationwide have been recalled after a malfunction linked to dozens of injuries, federal officials announced.
According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, Electrolux Group issued the recall Thursday due to a defect that can cause a delayed ignition of the oven’s bake burner.
Officials said the issue has been reported at least 62 times, resulting in at least 30 burn-related injuries.
The recalled ranges were manufactured in North Carolina and sold across the United States at retailers including Lowe’s, The Home Depot and through the Frigidaire website between June 2025 and January 2026. The appliances were priced between $630 and $2,700. Approximately 5,300 additional units were sold in Canada.
The recall includes Frigidaire, Frigidaire Gallery and Frigidaire Professional gas ranges with the following model numbers:

Consumers who own one of the recalled units are urged to stop using the oven immediately and contact Electrolux Group for a free repair. Officials said the cooktop burners on the ranges can still be used.
