A Monticello man has been sentenced to 35 years in prison after pleading guilty to multiple felony charges involving a child, according to the Monticello Police Department.
Investigators arrested Clinton Savage, 41, on Aug. 14, 2025, on charges of rape of a child; distributing, possessing or viewing sexually explicit material involving a child; and possession of a firearm by certain persons.
Authorities said the investigation resulted in the collection of physical evidence and an admission by Savage regarding his conduct.
On Feb. 23, 2026, Savage appeared in Circuit Court before Judge Robert Gibson and entered guilty pleas to two counts of second-degree sexual assault and one count of possession of a firearm by certain persons.
He was sentenced to 35 years in the Arkansas Department of Corrections.
