The Pine Bluff Convention Center hosted the Monster Truck Maniac Unleashed tour on Saturday night, drawing what officials say was the largest crowd for an event there in recent history.
A total of 3,700 tickets were made available for the show, with 3,300 sold.
Barbara Dunn, executive director of the Pine Bluff Convention Center, spoke with Deltaplex News following the event about the strong turnout and what it means for future events at the facility.
Dunn said it was rewarding for her and her staff to see such a strong crowd in attendance.
She added that additional events will be announced soon.
The new hotel on the Convention Center grounds is progressing quickly, and Dunn said people are already inquiring about booking rooms to host events at the Convention Center.
