Wednesday is United Way Day on Oldies 1013 and this week Executive Director Jason Duren was joined by Samantha Stichert of the Area Agency on Aging to talk about the upcoming Meals on Wheels Bass Tournament April 11.
She said that when the meals are delivered to the houses, the people that are making the deliveries are not just dropping them off, they’re knocking on the doors to see the recipients of those meals.
Duren went on to say this.
