Jefferson County Judge Gerald Robinson appeared on the Oldies 1013 Morning Show two weeks before his fate will be decided in a run-off election to decide if he, or his opponent attorney Efrem Neely will win the Democratic Party nomination for the seat Robinson currently holds.

Morning Show host Greg Horne asked Robinson to talk about the perception that people know that nothing has really been accomplished for a couple of years and Horne said he agreed with Robinson that the Quorum Court has made a concerted effort to block him but what would he say to that electorate who asked why should they put him back in knowing there’s going to be more of the same.

Horne then asked Robinson about his decision to support the Quapaw Nation’s efforts to build a casino here, a decision Horne said was justified particularly considering what has happened in Russellville and a casino there is completely off the table.

Neely was invited to appear on the Oldies 1013 Morning Show at his convenience but has so far declined the invitation.
