A $5,000 bond was set Wednesday for a Jefferson County woman on a drug related charge.
Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Quinshanque Tidwell, 27, with possession of a controlled substance Schedule 1 or 2.
Reading from an affidavit from White Hall Police Investigator Charles Treadway, Deputy Prosecutor Ty Spradlin said on Feb. 23 at 4:45 p.m., a White Hall Police Officer was on patrol on Dollaway Road and Timber Lane when he saw a white Kia and a check of the license showed the vehicle had no insurance.
When Tidwell was questioned, she said she smoked marijuana and admitted ownership of the Ecstasy.
Tidwell has multiple misdemeanor traffic and failure to appear warrants was told to come back to court April 10.
