A $5,000 bond was set Friday for a Jefferson County woman accused of hitting her daughter in the head during an altercation Thursday.
Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Christian Pottmeyer, 34, with second-degree domestic battery.
Deputy Prosecutor Maxie Kizer said Thursday morning, officers were sent to a residence in response to a reported domestic disturbance between Pottmeyer and her 12-year-old daughter.
Pottmeyer was ordered to have no contact with her daughter and told to come back to court in late March.
