Upon arrival, Officers located the victim who states they were arguing and it got violent.

The victim named Pace as her attacker.

She was transported to JRMC for an evaluation, where it was discovered her nose was broken.

She gave the officers a description of his vehicle, and that’s where he was found and arrested.

The affidavit does not identify any domestic relationship, so the charge was changed from Domestic Battery to 2nd Degree Battery.

Pace was ordered to have no contact with the victim and is scheduled to return to court on August 3rd.
