A $25,000 bond was set Wednesday for a Jefferson County man on drug and weapons related charges.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Bobby Wood, 57, with two counts of being a felon in possession of a firearm, possession of a controlled substance, simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal trespass.

Deputy Prosecutor Shana Alexander said on Tuesday, sheriff’s deputies were sent to a reported armed disturbance at 2905 Highway 104.

Deputies searched the house to ensure that there were no more victims present.

Alexander said Wood has one prior felony conviction. He was told to come back to court April 10.
