A $2,000 bond was set Wednesday for a Jefferson County man accused of burglary.
Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Charles Tarter, 19, with residential burglary.
The allegation is based on a probable cause affidavit by Sheriff’s Sgt. Clayton Cantrell that was presented in court by Deputy Prosecutor Shana Alexander.
Tarter was ordered to have no contact with the victim and told to come back to court July 28.
