A $5,000 bond was set Wednesday for a Jefferson County man who kicked the window out of a sheriff’s department car early Wednesday morning.
Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Corey Ankney, 36, with criminal mischief.
Reading from an affidavit by Sheriff’s Investigator Kirsten Pennington, Prosecuting Attorney S. Kyle Hunter said deputies were sent to a reported domestic disturbance.
Ankney was told to come back to court May 15.
