The first winter storm of 2026 hit the Deltaplex area Friday night, leaving roads, yards, and homes covered in snow and ice as residents woke up Saturday morning.
Jefferson County Judge Gerald Robinson spoke with Deltaplex News on Saturday morning to share what his crews are working on, including providing sand to the ambulance bay at Jefferson Regional Hospital.
He added that the county is prepared to assist Altheimer, Redfield, White Hall, and other smaller cities as well.
Robinson concluded by offering advice to Jefferson County residents as they navigate the storm.
