The Jefferson County Boys and Girls Club CEO Trevante Calhoun joined the Oldies 1013 Morning Show Wednesday for United Way Day and talked about the club’s partnership with local schools in the community especially in the Pine Bluff School district.

Host Greg Horne asked Calhoun how close they worked with the public and private school districts and Calhoun said this.

Horne mentioned that since Jennifer Barbaree took over the PBHS District as Superintendent she has contributed to helping the district work towards getting better and Calhoun responded by saying this.

He also went on to say this.

On another subject, Horne mentioned that school gets out later this month and Calhoun talked about how the club is preparing for their summer program.
