Retired Army officer Ed Monk of White Hall, who speaks all over the country on dealing with mass shootings will be hosting what he called a “Hero’s Conference” on Aug. 23 at the White Hall Community Center.
Monk explained the conference when he appeared on the Oldies 1013 Morning Show.
Monk continued by saying this.
Three other speakers will also tell their stories and Monk talked about who they are and what they did.
Morning Show host Greg Horne said it seemed to him that each of those individuals were prepared, they had a firearm with them and didn’t hesitate or blink an eye when the moment arrived.

Monk said lunch will be provided free of charge. There will be no tickets sold at the door.
