Jefferson County Judge Gerald Robinson was one of the first to file for reelection as the filing period for the 2026 primaries began at the Jefferson County Courthouse at noon Monday.
Robinson was joined by County Treasurer Vonysha Goodwin and Coroner Chad Kelley, along with current Pine Bluff City Council members LaTisha Brunson and Lanette Frazier, and Eric Walden, who is running against Robinson for County Judge. All filed as Democrats.
Others who filed during the initial rush were Justice of the Peace candidates, Leo Smith, Randy Green, Patricia Johnson, Deshawn Eans, Joseph O’Neal, and George Barnes.
Also filing was Ricky Whitmore who is seeking reelection to the Pine Bluff School Board.
The filing period will end next Monday.
