The Pine Bluff School District is celebrating a major honor for one of its own. Evette Johnson has been named the Arkansas School Counselor Association (ArSCA) Southeast Region’s Middle Level School Counselor of the Year.
Johnson’s dedication to students and her outstanding contributions to the school community earned her this prestigious recognition. Known for her compassion, leadership, and commitment to student success, Johnson has made a lasting impact on countless lives through her work.
Pine Bluff School District Superintendent Dr. Jennifer Barbaree spoke with Deltaplex News about Ms. Johnson, saying she has not only been recognized as the Arkansas School Counselor Association (ArSCA) Southeast Region’s Middle Level School Counselor of the Year, but she has also been promoted to be a counselor at Pine Bluff High School.
