The Pine Bluff Fire and Emergency Services Department responded to 446 calls in November, with more than 62 percent of them being emergency medical responses.
According to the monthly statistics released prior to a meeting of the City Council Monday, firefighters answered 277 EMS calls in November, 12 fewer than in the previous month.
There were six structure fires in November, 1 in Ward 2, 3 in Ward 3 and 2 in Ward 4. In October, five structure fires were reported.
Four vehicle fires and 6 brush/grass/rubbish fires were reported, and firefighters responded to 18 fire alarms. There were 4 false alarms reported.
Another 25-percent of the total calls, 115, were listed as other, a catch-all for things like installing smoke detectors and home security surveys.
