Emergency Medical Calls top firefighters December Activity list

Emergency Medical responses in January topped the Pine Bluff Fire and Emergency Services monthly report that was given to the City Council on Monday.

According to the report, firefighters responded to 354 emergency medical calls last month, 17 more than the previous month.

In addition, there were 19 motor vehicle accidents with injuries in January, five fewer than in December 2025.

For the month, firefighters responded to 563 calls, 25 more than they did in December 2025.

Eleven structure fires were reported last month, one fewer than in December, and there were 3 vehicle fires, two more than the previous month. Brush\grass\rubbish fires for both months totaled 14 each.

An additional 152 calls in January were listed as other, 14 more than were reported in December.
