Emergency Ambulance Service Inc. (EASI) hosted their annual appreciation luncheon for First Responders, with good food and good times for police officers, sheriff’s deputies, firefighters and many others.
Josh Bishop, the CEO of EASI talked about the event on Oldies 1013.
Greg Horne asked Bishop to explain how closely EASI works with first-responders.
Mid-Town Tire and Auto and Foster’s Towing were co-sponsors and Joe Spadoni talked about what was going on.
Clyde McDaniel who also works for EASI told Horne that the company is getting ready to open a second station to hopefully speed up response times to the southern part of the county.
Bryan Thomas, the CEO of Jefferson Regional Hospital attended the luncheon and Horne said he knows that Thomas sees a lot of these first responders running in and out of the hospital emergency room.
During the interview, Horne told Thomas the reputation of Jefferson Regional has skyrocketed over the past few years.
Kenneth Starnes, who bought the ambulance service from the late Ron Lusby talked about his involvement with the company.
Jefferson County Judge and former Sheriff Gerald Robinson said the luncheon was a “near deal.”
