The Dumas Police Department is actively investigating a series of criminal incidents reported early Thursday morning in the Meadow View area, including neighborhoods such as Dan Gill, Jack Dante, Mistletoe, Melrose, Evergreen, and Rice.
Authorities say they are working multiple cases of Criminal Mischief and Breaking or Entering that occurred between 2:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. on June 5.
As part of the investigation, police are asking residents in the affected areas who have outdoor surveillance cameras to review their footage and send any relevant video clips to [email protected].
“We thank the community for their cooperation and support as we work to identify those responsible,” the department said in a public alert.
Police are also urging residents to keep their property secured at all times, including locking vehicles, securing garages and sheds, and turning on exterior lights when possible.
