Wednesday is United Way Day on Oldies 1013 and this week Crystal Stafford filled in for Jason Duren to talk about the upcoming duck races at Crystal Springs Water Park on Aug. 12.
Stafford was asked how the sale of “quack Packs,” five rubber ducks is going and she answered this way.
Cash prizes will be awarded to winners of the races with excess proceeds going to help cover the cost of medical co-pays.
Stafford then explained further.
Stafford was joined by United Way volunteer Dionne Anderson who was asked what she had been doing as a volunteer.
