Dr Brandi Wright Shares Journey from Teaching to Nephrology and Offers Kidney Health Advice on Oldies 1013

Dr. Brandi Wright, who is associated with Jefferson Regional Hospital, is a Pine Bluff native who was at one time a high school teacher.

Appearing on the Oldies 1013 Morning Show, Wright said she taught 8th, 9th and 10th grade science at the former St. Joseph High School and was asked why she decided to do stop teaching and go to medical school.

Wright practices Nephrology and was asked by Morning Show host Greg Horne to talk about why people have kidney diseases.

“That’s not good for the person you’re talking to right now,” Horne said.

“You just need to be careful about how often you take it I guess,” Horne said.

Horne asked her about taking Tylenol or Excedrin instead and she responded this way.
