Dallas County Sheriff Mike Knoedl has released the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office 2025 End of the Year Report, outlining enforcement statistics and highlighting the department’s work over the past year.
According to the report, deputies seized 6.2 pounds of methamphetamine, 16.67 grams of cocaine and 7.46 pounds of marijuana in 2025. The sheriff’s office also confiscated 52 firearms and $12,378 in cash connected to criminal investigations.
Deputies made 115 felony arrests during the year. In addition, the department issued 1,847 citations and 1,178 warnings. A total of 133 vehicles were towed, and 955 inmates were booked into the Dallas County Detention Center.
Knoedl said the statistics reflect the continued effort to combat drug activity and crime while maintaining a visible presence across the county.
In releasing the report, Knoedl also emphasized his background and experience in law enforcement. A certified law enforcement officer since 1985, he spent 32 years with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, ultimately retiring as director after rising through the ranks from wildlife officer to deputy director and director.
During his career, Knoedl completed more than 2,300 hours of law enforcement training and served as a certified instructor, including 22 years as a pursuit driving instructor. He has received commendations from the Arkansas State Police, the Arkansas Law Enforcement Training Academy and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, among other honors.
Knoedl has lived in Dallas County since 1989 and previously served on Gov. Asa Hutchinson’s Task Force on Law Enforcement Reform in 2021.
He said transparency and accountability remain priorities for his administration and encouraged residents to contact the sheriff’s office with any questions or concerns.
The Dallas County sheriff serves a four-year term and is elected by voters countywide.
