Commander (Captain Select) Corey Doolittle, MSC, USN, an alumnus of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB), has been selected for promotion to the rank of Captain (O-6) in the United States Navy.
Commander Doolittle earned a Bachelor of Science in Regulatory Sciences from UAPB’s School of Agriculture, Fisheries and Human Sciences in 2002. During his time at UAPB, he served as Student Government Association President from 2001 to 2002, demonstrating the leadership and commitment to service that would define his military career.
Commander Doolittle currently serves as Deputy for Logistics, Sustainment Policy & Programs (BUMED N42) at the Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) in Falls Church, Virginia. Over the course of more than two decades of distinguished naval service, he has held key leadership positions in healthcare administration and medical logistics, supporting fleet and operational medical readiness across the Navy and Marine Corps.
His selection for promotion to Captain reflects sustained superior performance, strategic leadership, and dedicated service to the nation. Officially announced in ALNAV 027/26, this milestone places Commander Doolittle among the senior ranks of the United States Navy Medical Service Corps.
