City officials are warning residents of a temporary shutdown of the City of Rison’s water system scheduled for late Wednesday night.
According to Utilities Director Joe Freyer, the water system will be shut down beginning at 10 p.m. tonight, Jan. 14, and is expected to last several hours. The work is being conducted overnight in an effort to minimize inconvenience to residents.
Freyer said the shutdown is part of an ongoing process that is expected to be completed by the end of the week of Jan. 23.
City officials are asking residents to plan accordingly and thanked the public for their patience and understanding during the work. Residents with questions or concerns are encouraged to contact the city’s utilities department for additional information.
