The City of Pine Bluff has announced a new date for the 2026 State of the City Address, where Mayor Vivian L. Flowers will outline the city’s progress over the past year and share her vision for the future.

The event will now be held Monday, March 30, at 6 p.m. at the Pine Bluff Convention Center, located at 1 Convention Center Drive. The address was originally scheduled for March 31 but was moved to avoid a conflict with runoff election day.

City officials said the event is free and open to the public.

During the address, Flowers is expected to highlight key accomplishments from the past year, including economic development efforts, infrastructure improvements, public safety initiatives and ongoing investments aimed at strengthening the community.

The annual address also serves as an opportunity to recognize the contributions of residents, city employees, community partners and local organizations who have played a role in the city’s progress.

“Pine Bluff is a city rich with resilience, innovation and opportunity,” Flowers said in a statement. “As we reflect on how far we’ve come, we also look ahead with determination and optimism as we continue building a stronger future for our community.”

Residents, business leaders and community stakeholders are encouraged to attend and learn more about the initiatives shaping Pine Bluff’s future.
